Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting visitor management processes, and documenting incidents as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around morgue areas.
• Must be able to assist with restraining individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
