We are recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Textiles and/or Food Technology to join a secondary school in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach practical and engaging subjects within a well-equipped department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Deliver DT lessons focusing on Textiles and/or Food Technology

• Plan and prepare practical and theory-based lessons

• Maintain a safe and organised classroom/workshop environment

• Assess and track student progress

• Support students across KS3 and KS4

 

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant DT teaching experience

• Specialism in Textiles and/or Food Technology

• Strong classroom management

• Ability to deliver engaging practical lessons
