Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Fort Plain, New York.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Outpatient behavioral health role delivering counseling and therapeutic services for individuals and families
• Flexible scheduling options including hybrid scheduling and four 10-hour shift opportunities
• Collaborative interdisciplinary care environment with full clinical and administrative support staff
• Mission-driven behavioral health organization focused on long-term patient care and community support
• Upstate New York location known for outdoor recreation, historical sites, and small-town charm

COMPENSATION
• Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
• Student loan repayment eligibility up to $50,000

SCHEDULE
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Option for four 10-hour shifts
• One evening weekly until 7:00 PM
• Hybrid scheduling available

ROLE
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services for patients age 5 and older
• Support patients experiencing behavioral health and substance use concerns
• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with medical and clinical teams
• Complete evaluations and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and respond to urgent client needs and crisis situations
• Participate in supervision, training, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

• Clear and active New York LMHC license REQUIRED
• Strong verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED
• Comfortable working with patient populations age 5 and older REQUIRED
• Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care environment REQUIRED
• Experience working within electronic health record systems REQUIRED
• Strong patient-centered and team-oriented care approach REQUIRED
