JP Custom Leatherworks is currently seeking a diligent and organized Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong administrative skills, detail-oriented, and have a knack for ensuring efficiency in scheduling activities. The position requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing uncertainties and having excellent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities: Coordinate schedules for team members and equipment, prioritizing time-sensitive tasks, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. Closely collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team leaders to understand project timelines, equipment, and staff requirements. Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate changes to all relevant parties. Prepare and distribute schedules in a timely manner, ensuring that everyone understands their responsibilities and deadlines. Forecast potential schedule issues and proactively develop effective solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records. Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field. Proven experience in a scheduling or related role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks and projects. Strong knowledge of project management principles and processes. Proficiency in using scheduling tools and software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey scheduling information to team members at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of foreseeing potential scheduling obstacles and developing effective solutions.
