Assistant Development Manager

About the role:

We are looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join the One Circular Quay Project, on a 12- Month Fixed Tern Contract, working specifically on the Wardorf Astoria, Sydney. In this role, you will support the development project team and your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the completion and delivery of major project milestones, including quality reviews, inspections and completion activities.

• Coordinate project stakeholders including the Hotel Owner, Operator and D&C Contractor to ensure project obligations and deliverables are met.

• Manage governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement requirements for both the JV partner and key Hotel stakeholders.

• Oversee defect management, compliance tracking and project completion / handover processes.

• Monitor project safety performance and contribute to a strong safety culture.

• Manage consultant engagements, contract administration, invoicing and project financial reporting.

• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve key project objectives

About you:

You will have a proactive, detail-oriented approach to your work, you will also have:

• Experience in a similar role is highly desired.

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Tertiary qualification in property, construction or a related field

• Experience collaborating with multiple people with diverse backgrounds and needs, such as external consultants or other functional teams. 

• Experience managing and negotiating with stakeholders.
