Our work spans change management, organisation design, workforce strategy, HR transformation, skills and learning, culture, leadership, employee experience, digital adoption and AI-enabled workforce transformation.
About the role
As a Workforce Transformation Senior Associate, you will help organisations solve complex business, workforce and technology transformation challenges. You will work with senior client stakeholders and PwC teams to design and implement solutions that transform how work gets done, build future-ready workforce capabilities, accelerate adoption of new technologies and improve organisational performance.
This is a core consulting delivery role for individuals who can combine structured problem solving, workforce transformation expertise, AI-enabled delivery approaches and human-centred change methods to deliver measurable client outcomes.
What you will do
1. Deliver workforce and business transformation
Deliver workstreams within large-scale business, technology, HR and workforce transformation programmes, from strategy through implementation and adoption.
Design practical workforce transformation roadmaps that connect business priorities, organisation implications, people impacts, technology adoption and measurable outcomes.
Support organisation design and operating model transformation, including role and capability implications, governance, decision rights, workforce transition and implementation planning.
Develop workforce strategy, workforce planning, skill transformation, learning, culture and leadership solutions aligned to client business objectives.
2. Solve complex client problems
Break down ambiguous business and workforce challenges into clear problem statements, hypotheses, analysis plans and recommendations.
Use qualitative and quantitative analysis, stakeholder input, workforce data and market research to identify insights and develop evidence-based solutions.
Synthesise findings into concise, executive-ready narratives that make the case for action and guide decision-making.
Challenge assumptions respectfully and bring fresh thinking to complex transformation issues.
3. Lead change, adoption and human-centred transformation
Design and execute stakeholder engagement, communications, leadership alignment, learning, behavioural change and adoption strategies.
Conduct change impact assessments, readiness assessments and adoption measurement to identify risks and shape interventions.
Apply human-centred design, behavioural science and employee experience principles to improve workforce adoption and business outcomes.
Help clients build change capability and ways of working that sustain transformation beyond programme go-live.
4. Apply AI, digital and workforce innovation
Use GenAI, automation, analytics and digital tools responsibly to improve consulting quality, speed, insight generation and delivery efficiency.
Assess workforce implications of AI, automation, HR technology and digital workplace adoption, including future skills, role redesign and workforce readiness.
Support digital adoption strategies for enterprise platforms such as HR systems, ERP, collaboration tools, workflow platforms and AI-enabled workforce solutions.
Develop capability frameworks, learning pathways and adoption interventions that help organisations build future-ready workforces.
5. Manage clients, teams and delivery
Own day-to-day delivery of assigned workstreams, including planning, prioritisation, coordination, issue tracking, quality control and progress reporting.
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, listen actively, manage expectations and support senior team members in client discussions.
Prepare and facilitate interviews, focus groups, workshops and working sessions with clients and PwC teams.
Coach Associates or analysts by reviewing work, providing feedback and helping them develop strong consulting habits.
Contribute to proposals, credentials, thought leadership, knowledge assets and wider Workforce Transformation practice development.
