As a Security Guard Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in HOUSTON, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic cultural institution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. - Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a public outdoor cultural location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of trails, grounds, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Monitor access points and public areas, provide directions and information to visitors, and help maintain orderly use of the location.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
