Position Summary: Box Truck Driver 

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting materials primarily between our Aurora and Streetsboro campuses. The role involves loading and unloading the assigned truck and supporting other departmental needs consistent with general LayerZero Power Systems LLC.

Requirements

Primary Duties: 

• Safely operate a company-assigned box truck to transport materials between company campuses (Aurora and Streetsboro). 
• Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment and techniques. 
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of goods. 
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. 
• Assist in the Materials Department with general warehouse duties as needed. 
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. 
• Maintain accurate transportation logs and delivery records. 
• Represent LayerZero Power Systems LLC.  Professionally when interacting with team members and vendors. 

Experience & Skills: 

• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
• Previous experience driving box trucks preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail and reliability. 
• Forklift certification plus (or willingness to obtain). 
• Ability to work independently and follow directions. 
• 1+ year of experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles 

Education: 

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED 
• Preferred (but not required): Vocational training in transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations
