Job Description
As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to support access control, communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process-area perimeters, access points, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.
- Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
