Marketing Executive, South Korea

We are looking for a bright, dedicated, and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join Mintel's Marketing team in Seoul.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, APAC, this role will be responsible for driving marketing, PR, content, and lead generation initiatives across South Korea. Working closely with local commercial stakeholders as well as regional and global marketing teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening Mintel's brand presence, generating demand, and supporting business growth in the market.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Execute and implement South Korea marketing strategies and programs aligned with Mintel's brand positioning, while building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant media stakeholders for story pitching and coverage opportunities.
• Develop and execute content marketing initiatives based on key search terms, client platform insights, and SEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives including webinars, Mintel-led workshops, trade shows, and lead generation campaigns to drive awareness and sales opportunities within South Korea.
• Support, secure, and coordinate thought leadership speaking opportunities, industry partnerships, and event participation within the South Korean market.
• Understand business needs and collaborate closely with commercial teams to identify marketing-led solutions that address business challenges through integrated marketing and PR strategies.
• Develop and distribute press releases for the South Korean market, proactively pitch stories to local media, coordinate media interviews, and create and adapt blog content for local audiences.
• Manage government project registrations, applications, renewals, and related documentation, including programs such as the KOTRA Voucher Program and other relevant government-supported initiatives, ensuring compliance with all submission requirements and deadlines.
• Be a key member of the APAC Marketing team, supporting APAC-wide and global campaign implementation while ensuring effective localization and execution within the South Korean market

 

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree required; overseas educational background preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in marketing and/or PR functions. Experience in B2B marketing, consulting, professional services, or the market research industry is preferred but not essential.
• Confident communicator and presenter with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to demonstrate strong ownership and accountability.
• Data-driven mindset with experience or interest in marketing analytics and performance measurement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
• Proven track record of planning and executing successful marketing and PR campaigns within the South Korean market.
• Fluent English with the ability to work effectively in a regional and global environment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, and multitasking capabilities.
• Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrated business maturity, professionalism, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of working within a corporate structure and navigating approval processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and major social media platforms.
• Working knowledge of generative AI tools for content creation, video production, webpage development, and editing (e.g., WordPress).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM/marketing automation platforms preferred.
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
