[What the role is]
You will support environmental management initiatives related to Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), contaminated land management and remediation works across JTC’s industrial estates. The role involves managing environmental studies, overseeing consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.[What you will be working on]
Your responsibilities include
1) Acting as ESA policy holder, formulating, reviewing and updating EBS policy
2) Evaluating ESA reports submitted by companies and providing guidance to team members on report assessment.
3) Coordinate with stakeholders and consultants on the implementation of ESA policy to safeguard Singapore’s industrial land
4) Managing the procurement process and overseeing JTC’s appointed ESA consultants in conducting ESAs and evaluating complex ESA cases
5) Lead and manage Environmental Site Assessments for development and redevelopment projects.
6) Oversee land contamination investigations, risk assessments and remediation works.
7) Manage consultants and contractors for environmental studies, including air quality, landfill assessments and remediation works.
8) Review and evaluate technical reports, environmental monitoring results and remediation proposals.
[What we are looking for]
• Background in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Preferably 5–10 years of relevant experience in environmental site assessment, contaminated land management or remediation works.
• Experience in ESA studies, landfill investigations, air quality assessments or remediation technologies.
• Familiarity with environmental regulatory frameworks
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
