Formulation Scientist - Cleans PERR

Key Responsibilities

• Support formulation and process development through laboratory experimentation, material preparation, and testing activities.
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and performance evaluations, and assist with data analysis and technical reporting.
• Assist with prototyping, laboratory trials, technical service support, troubleshooting, and other hands on activities to support project objectives.
• Apply appropriate scientific and analytical techniques within area of technical expertise to interpret experimental data and draw conclusions.
• Research, investigate, and propose technical solutions to project-related challenges under the direction of senior scientists or project leaders.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, application engineering, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain, to support product development and improvement efforts.
• Execute assigned project tasks in accordance with defined timelines, quality standards, and technical requirements.
• Support the introduction and evaluation of new materials, processes, or technologies under guidance from senior team members.
• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, reports, and presentations summarizing experimental results and recommendations.
• Participate actively in product development teams and contribute technical input and continuous learning.
• Comply with global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, protect intellectual property, and adhere to applicable regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline.
• Above 3 years of semiconductor industry or research experience in BEoL wet cleaning formulation development.
• Has solid understanding of technical requirements of BEoL wet cleaning and process flow.
• Experience in formulation development and DOE-driven product development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication in both English and Mandarin. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented.
• High learning agility, with the ability to adapt to new materials, processes, and testing methods.
• Track record of developing and commercializing new products in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work with global project teams across different time zones.
