Formulation Scientist - Slurry

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize slurry formulations to meet customer and market requirements.
• Design and execute experiments using DOE and statistical tools to accelerate product development.
• Lead new product development and localization projects from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with application, product, raw material, commercial, and marketing teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Analyze technical data, solve complex formulation challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Ensure project execution, EHS compliance, and protection of intellectual property.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Microelectronics, or a related field, or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in formulation development and DOE-driven product development.
• Slurry formulation or CMP industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with statistical methods such as Six Sigma.
• Track record of developing and commercializing new products in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work with global project teams across different time zones.
