Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Console in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment by responding to security-related concerns and supporting site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front-desk post within a financial services office location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, maintain visitor logs, and issue or collect visitor credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, observe security-related systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by answering general inquiries, directing guests, and communicating clearly with building management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
