The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, enjoy working in a team environment, and take pride in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Follow special diet instructions and resident preferences.
- Assist with kitchen inventory and food storage.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or institutional food service is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
