Description
Principal Responsibilities:
• Develops customer contact and is responsible for providing technical support and customer solutions for the organization’s products and/or services via telephone or through written or Internet-based applications
• Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both current and prospective customers throughout the sales cycle
• Provides pre and post-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex scientific and technological products/applications/solutions
• Must be able to identify all technical issues with associated customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
• Works with other members of the sales team as well as R&D, engineering and marketing to define complex customer technical requirements and ensure they are built into product specifications
• Works directly with prospective customers/users to demonstrate complex technical aspects of the product applications/solutions as well as product performance
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of related experience required
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
• Operates in a professional office environment
• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
