The Role + Purpose:
- Be our women’s and crewcuts product expert!
- Own product copy and naming across women’s and crewcuts.
- Write on-brand loyalty copy for designated channels.
- Tackle and support additional copy assignments as needed, from site to email to social.
- Research everything from sustainability terms to third party brand backstories.
- Adopt our brand voice while helping to evolve it.
- Keep tabs on what’s going on word-wise in the industry.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ of writing experience
- BS/BA degree (English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising preferred).
- An unapologetically nerdy love of words.
- Cool-headed multitasking.
- Curiosity about all kinds of retail experiences.
- Brainstorming sorcery.
- Hype for the latest long read, niche TikTok sound and/or good outfit spotted on the subway.
- Ability to work efficiently and adhere to multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Must have a deep understanding of our brand voice.

Hourly Range: $25.48 - $29.74At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
