JOB OBJECTIVES
Plastic Solutions:
" To introduce plastic solution SBU products to the market.
" To support regional business development together with sales and deliver annual sales target.
" To collect market information for internal study and support marcom activities.
" To solve customer production and quality issues including complaints.
" To build up know-how and be capable of developing formulations to customers.
Antioxidant
" To provide global technical support for antioxidant products, support application development, and drive business growth.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Plastic Solutions:
1. Deploy excellence initiatives covering technical service delivery, cross-regional project management, customer complaint resolution, product portfolio matching and new material formulation development to deliver high-standard technical support.
2. Allocate a minimum of 50% working time to on-site market visits and customer technical communication, and timely report all activities via VR.
3. Act as the primary regional technical focal point for plastic solution SBU in Asia for all customers' technical related issue.
4. Solve customers' technical and quality issues including complaints, build up good customer relationship and intimacy by providing high quality technical services.
5. Analyze downstream application demands, technical requirements and competitive products on TPU/PVC compounding with focus on charging cables, optical fiber jackets and robotics industries;
6. Work closely with sales, global peers on product promotion, customer tests, line trials to drive the business growth.
7. Lead new project development and product qualification validation by internally collaborating with RD team.
8. Support sales on new customer/product development by working with global peers, developing customized formulations.
9. Collaborate with local and global teams to gather, sort, analyze and submit regular market intelligence reports covering customer production & innovation and competitor technical moves.
10. Support sales and marketing team to present on external forums, exhibitions, seminars and customer events.
11. Manage samples, datasheets, formulation guides and application case libraries to the customers.
12. Coordinate third-party material tests, organize certification application and document submission for business development purpose.
13. Complete other ad-hoc technical and commercial tasks assigned as business needs arise.
Antioxidant:
1. Provide technical support to customers for product use, application, and troubleshooting
2. Resolve technical issues at customer sites, including root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations
3. Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams
4. Support product trials and technical approvals for new markets and applications
5. Work with sales and marketing to identify and develop new markets and application opportunities
6. Coordinate with R&D, quality, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure customer needs are addressed
7. Complete other ad-hoc technical and commercial tasks assigned as business needs arise.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in Polymer Materials or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 8 years of working experience in polymer production or R&D; solid professional knowledge of TPU & PVC compounding polymerization processes and formulation design, capable of analyzing raw material functions and key finished product performance indicators.
3. In-depth professional understanding of elastomer and rubber material systems, proficient in their application mechanisms within TPU/PVC compounding workflows and their impact on end-product mechanical, thermal and electrical performance.
4. Prior experience leading cross-functional technical projects or providing on-site technical support for compounding manufacturers is highly preferred.
5. Hands-on experience in direct end-customer technical service and B2B commercial coordination experience is a plus.
6. Strong business acumen, outstanding analytical and logical thinking capabilities, proven end-to-end problem-solving skills for formulation and production failures.
7. Proficient in office software tools; fluent written and verbal English for cross-border communication with global SBU teams.
8. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of compiling structured, logical technical reports and trial summaries.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player with strong cross-department coordination awareness.
