Description
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive compliance professional, with demonstrable experience of working on their own initiative, to join Collas Crill Compliance Limited (CC Compliance), as a Compliance Consultant.
CC Compliance prides itself in providing a bespoke and commercially sensitive consultancy service, supporting a broad range of financial and non-financial services clients to safely navigate the complex governance, risk and regulatory compliance maze, in an efficient and effective manner, by providing practical and constructive advice and assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, you will support and generally participate in the ongoing success and growth of CC Compliance, in addition to managing and growing your own portfolio of client relationships.
- Hold prescribed roles for clients (MLRO, MLCO and Compliance Officer);
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, to help retain and attract more clients and work into the business;
- Actively contribute to the development of clients and contacts for the whole firm, actively participating in events or thought-leadership initiatives;
- Day-to-day client advice and assistance;
- Draft and implementation of client policies and procedures;
- Bespoke advisory and project work;
- Design and deliver Training and Awareness training;
- Effectively negotiate fees with clients.
Effectively monitor WIP and amounts billed against cost estimates and agreed budgets and billing arrangements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years' experience in Guernsey compliance, who have an ICA certificate or diploma, and have demonstrable experience in an MLRO, MLCO or Compliance Officer role. GFSC POI and/or fiduciary experience is also essential.
As a consultant, the successful individual will be able to work on their own initiative with little supervision, and will enjoy the challenge of writing articles, recording podcasts and delivering presentations and training to clients.
