The Product Implementation Manager is responsible for supporting the Product Implementation Lead in managing the technical and implementation vertical of PLUK’s Product Management unit.
Roles and Responsibilities: A. Product Roadmap, Strategy, and Governance *Support the Product Implementation Lead in providing feasibility assessment and high-level timelines for recommended product projects in the product roadmap.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in providing technical updates for assigned projects, Day 2, and product performance in the regular Product Steering Committee meetings.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in overseeing the implementation of RACI document or other governance documents for activities related to product implementation.
B. Product Development
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in providing implementation timelines and resources to the PSC.
8*Develop implementing guidelines and secure approval following RACI. *Support the Product Implementation Lead in holding product kick-offs with internal stakeholders focusing on technical requirements, resources and timelines for technical team including but not limited to Operations, Finance/Actuarial, Tech, R&C, Legal, Data Science.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in securing PSC’s approval for product’s design and launch date.
*Facilitate creation of technical requirements for system development including creation of product requirements, ensuring requirements are sufficient to support the product design.
*Oversee system development activities including but not limited to system development, SIT, UAT, sign-off, deployment, ensuring activities are executed as per timeline, scope and requirements, and following RACI.
*Ensure operational processes are in place before product launch. *Management of timeline of the above activities including implementation timelines.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in facilitating the go or no-go checkpoint and manage launch checklist to ensure readiness of technical activities prior to launch
*Oversee technical deployment, ensure readiness, and release advisory prior to launch.
*Perform lessons learned sessions for product implementation after launch.
*Manage timeline of the above activities including implementation timelines.
C. Post-Launch Monitoring
*Ensure monitoring facilities are in place upon product launch.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in monitoring new product performance against target, escalate and recommend necessary action to address performance issues.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in maintaining portfolio performance monitoring for presentation to the regular PSC meeting.
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in conducting an annual product review to gauge product performance.
D. Post-Launch Support
*Support the Product Implementation Lead in maintaining the Day 2 list and ensure scope, requirements, risk and timeline are defined per item, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders. Emil James Marquez *Support the Product Implementation Lead in recommending Day 2 prioritization to the PSC.
*Monitor Day 2 execution following prioritization. Product Implementation Lead *Provide technical support to existing products as needed.
Qualifications
*At least 5 years of experience in life insurance product management or equivalent
*Graduate of Mathematics/Actuarial Science, Finance, Business or equivalent in a reputable university
*Knowledgeable in life insurance products and regulations
*With experience in managing projects end-to-end and collaborating with cross-functional units within a life insurance company
*Strong skill in technical product development including requirements build, product set-up in the system, UAT execution, and post-launch/day 2 solutioning.
*Strong knowledge and experience working with life insurance front-end and back-end systems is a plus. *FLMI designation preferred
