Job Title: Director, Information Technology Department:
Information Technology Supervisor: Vice President Finance, CFO
Hours: 40 hrs., Full-time exempt Days
Job Objective:
Summary: All responsibilities are performed under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer. All responsibilities pertain to Mozaic Senior Services data and telecommunications infrastructure. All responsibilities contribute to the goal of implementing, maintaining and supporting a cost effective, state-of-the-art infrastructure. All responsibilities are performed personally and/or through staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in I/T or Computer Science
Experience: Information Technology Director with 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment. experience in cybersecurity is preferred. Excellent knowledge of I/T systems and infrastructure.
Licensure: A+ & Network+ certification preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
1.Leads activities to implement, maintain and support a cost effective, state-of-the-art infrastructure.
2.Develops and monitors annual operating and capital budgets.
3.Identifies security vulnerabilities and develops corrective solutions.
4.Develops IT strategies, goals, long term and tactical plans.
5.Develops and Implements IT best practice standards, policies and procedures.
6.Plans and manages enterprise-wide projects including special projects and conversions.
7.Conducts departmental need assessments.
8.Assigns personnel to manage JSS website.
9.Provides organizational wide telecommunication support including TV and phone systems.
10.Evaluates new technology and vendor proposals to augment JSS infrastructure.
11.Reviews, evaluates, and approves proposals software acquisitions.
12.Addresses customer complaints. Ensure that service problems are corrected and that adjustments are made to avoid recurrence.
13.Prioritize schedules and allocate resources for the following: equipment installations and relocations, IT consulting, software installations and upgrades.
14.Negotiates contracts with consultants and vendors for services and products.
15.Supervises help desk and other direct reports.
16.Perform personnel-related duties including new staff selection and performance evaluations.
17.Participates as a member of management team in planning, problem resolution, and reviewing department performance.
18.Implements appropriate educational and training programs to ensure high-quality professional staff performance.
19.Demonstrates the philosophy, mission, and core values of JSS the Jewish Home for the Elderly in performance of job responsibilities. Demonstration includes courteous and cooperative behavior toward residents, visitors, volunteers, peers and physicians.
