Group Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material flow in support of production and customer requirements. This position oversees inventory accuracy, warehousing activities, material handling, line-side delivery, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Supervisor drives operational excellence through strong leadership, process discipline, inventory control, and adherence to Magna standards, MAFACT principles, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

· Promote and maintain a safe working environment throughout warehouse operations.

· Ensure compliance with OSHA, Magna, customer, and environmental requirements.

· Conduct safety audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

· Monitor forklift, tugger, and material handling equipment compliance.

· Lead safety training and reinforce safe work practices.

· Supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and line-side delivery.

· Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support production schedules.

· Monitor warehouse performance metrics and service levels.

· Coordinate material movements between warehouse and production areas.

· Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.

· Support production escalation activities related to material shortages and delivery concerns.]

· Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, and inventory reconciliation activities.

· Ensure all material transactions are completed accurately and timely in SAP.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

· Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.

· Ensure physical inventory aligns with system inventory records.

· Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Team Leaders, Material Handlers, and Warehouse Associates.

· Conduct performance evaluations and development planning.

· Manage attendance, employee relations, discipline, and performance concerns.

· Support hiring, onboarding, and training activities.

· Foster employee engagement and accountability throughout the department.

· Support MAFACT and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

· Identify and implement warehouse process improvements.

· Improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material flow.

· Support new program launches and logistics readiness activities.

Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities

· Ensure compliance with all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures.

· Follow established quality standards and operational guidelines.

· Report hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues immediately.

· Support safe and efficient warehouse operations.

· Ensure compliance with all material handling and storage requirements.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

· Manufacturing and warehouse environment.

· Frequent standing and walking.

· Regular operation around forklifts, tuggers, and material handling equipment.

· Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

· Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.

· Ability to work flexible schedules as required to support production demands.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED (Required)

· Associate's or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field (Preferred)

· Warehouse operations management.

· Inventory control and cycle counting.

· Material flow management.

· Forklift and material handling operations.

· Microsoft Office proficiency.

· Team leadership and coaching.

· Problem-solving and root cause analysis.

· Inventory auditing and reconciliation.

· Strong communication skills.

· Conflict resolution.

· Time management and prioritization.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
