Regional Manager

A Regional Sales Manager is required to lead sales growth across an assigned Northeast territory for a leading manufacturer of valves, actuators, and engineered flow control solutions. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role responsible for managing representative networks, developing distributor relationships, and creating direct sales opportunities across industrial markets including oil & gas, energy, water, and other process industries.

The ideal candidate will be a proven technical sales professional within valves, actuators, flow control, compressors, pumps, industrial automation and related engineered products. They will have a strong track record of growing territories, developing new business, managing sales channels, and building relationships with customers, representatives, distributors, and end users. This role is suited to a true hunter who is motivated by creating opportunities and expanding market presence rather than maintaining an existing book of business.

Candidates will need to reside in New England, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Boston

Package:

• $160,000 - $175,000 base salary

Role for Regional Sales Manager:

• Manage and grow sales across an assigned US territory, driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies focused on expanding market share and identifying new business opportunities.
• Manage and support manufacturer representative agencies and distributor networks across the territory.
• Build strong relationships with: Manufacturer representatives, Industrial distributors, End users, Engineering teams, OEMs
• Develop direct sales opportunities within key markets including oil & gas, energy, industrial processing.
• Identify and pursue new customers, applications, and market opportunities through proactive territory development.
• Support and train representative partners to improve product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales performance.
• Provide technical and commercial support around valve, actuator, and flow control solutions.
• Work closely with internal leadership on forecasting, pricing strategy, territory planning, and profitability objectives.
• Travel regularly throughout the territory to meet customers, partners, and develop new opportunities.

Requirements for Regional Sales Manager:

• Proven sales experience within valves, actuators, flow control, engineered products, industrial equipment compressors, pumps, industrial automation and related engineered products
• Experience selling through: Manufacturer representative agencies, Distributor networks, Direct end-user relationships, Industrial customers, OEMs
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered products and customer applications.
• Experience managing independent sales channels and representative networks preferred.
• Based in New England, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Boston etc.

Preferred Candidate Background:

Candidates may come from a Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, District Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer position prior.

Ideal candidates will have experience with companies involved in Valves, Actuation, Flow control, Industrial automation, Process equipment, Oil & gas solutions, Energy markets, pumps, compressors or filtration.
