JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Technical Project Manager leads the delivery of highly complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives that drive strategic business outcomes. This role is responsible for managing large-scale programs involving multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and senior executive stakeholders. The incumbent provides leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including business case development, planning, execution, governance, risk management, change management, and operational readiness.
This position serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions while driving accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and value realization. Success requires strong technical understanding, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while leading transformational change within a complex, matrixed environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a project leader for the definition, planning, and delivery of multiple large-scale product and technology projects, working with the executive sponsor (Director or higher) and other management as required to ensure achievement of the defined project goals. Receive high risk, visible efforts, must take a lead role in the successful delivery and implementation of cross-functional activities to achieve the desired results for a defined program and/or strategic initiative.
- Drive the day-to-day operation of projects (including budgetary oversight and staffing) ensuring that all projects are reliably delivered on time, on budget and with a consistently high standard of quality.
- Collaborate with all project stakeholders to proactively identify and mitigate project risks with frequent reevaluation and reprioritization of the risk register. Determine communication strategies and execute those to provide accurate and timely project information. Efficiently summarize and present complex ideas and/or data into a format that can be understood by all levels of the organization.
- Cultivate a customer-first attitude by forging relationships with stakeholders to better understand their needs and goals, and seek to discern what the customer impact will be for each project decision and/or action taken.

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Science or closely related field

EXPERIENCE
Required
- 5 years in Project Management
- 5 years delivering business solutions using information technology
Preferred
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives.
- 5+ years managing enterprise software implementations, infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or other complex technology programs.
- Demonstrated success managing projects with cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders, external vendors, and significant organizational change impacts.
- Experience managing project budgets, financial forecasting, resource planning, and executive-level reporting.Healthcare payer, provider, or health technology experience.
- Experience leading Workday, Salesforce, ERP, HRIS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, or digital transformation programs.Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience within a PMO or enterprise portfolio management environment.
