About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Regional Marketing Manager to join our Queensland marketing team.
Reporting to the Marketing Lead – QLD, you’ll manage a designated portfolio of venues while supporting the coordination, development and delivery of marketing activity across the broader Queensland region.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing venue marketing strategies, managing budgets, overseeing campaigns and driving measurable commercial outcomes. You’ll also support team development, coordinate workloads and contribute to major events, group-wide initiatives and new venue projects.
The role will suit an experienced marketing professional who understands hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance creative thinking with strong commercial acumen.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute quarterly marketing strategies across your venue portfolio.
- Support the Queensland Marketing Lead with team leadership, development and workload coordination.
- Deliver national marketing playbooks, major events and group-wide initiatives.
- Manage venue marketing budgets and provide monthly budget reporting.
- Oversee local marketing activity across digital campaigns, promotions, events and content.
- Brief digital and design teams on promotional and event campaigns.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
- Identify the most effective marketing channels for each venue and target audience.
- Oversee content, photography, menu updates and digital platform updates.
- Review and optimise digital campaign copy, including Google Ads.
- Monitor the customer journey and improve engagement and conversion.
- Use data, customer insights and performance reporting to inform decisions.
- Generate innovative ideas that support venue performance and revenue growth.
- Manage marketing activity for brownfield, greenfield and acquisition projects.
- Support PR activity, media schedules and press releases when required.
- Share campaign case studies, trends and insights across the marketing team.
About You
You’re an experienced marketing professional with a strong understanding of hospitality operations and venue marketing. You’re confident managing multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and a diverse portfolio of venues.
You’ll bring:
- At least three years’ experience developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Experience managing a portfolio of venues, locations or brands.
- Strong budget management and financial reporting skills.
- Experience delivering campaigns, major events or group-wide initiatives.
- Strong digital marketing and technical capability.
- Experience using data and performance insights to guide decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal and copywriting skills.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
- A creative, innovative and commercially focused mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
