About the job
Do you thrive at the intersection of finance, strategy, and business performance? Are you motivated by partnering with leaders across the organisation, transforming complex data into clear business insights, and helping shape key decisions? If so, this could be an opportunity for you.
To further strengthen our Commercial Finance department, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the dedicated finance partner working with Group Commercial and related functions within the Group Client Journeys organisation, providing financial leadership, business partnering, and analytical support across these areas.
As a trusted advisor, you will play an important role in connecting financial outcomes with strategic priorities and business objectives. The Finance Partner team currently consists of five colleagues, and you will report directly to the Head of Finance Partners.
Responsibilities
Act as the dedicated Finance Business Partner supporting and working with leaders on driving business performance and achieving strategic objectives.
Lead monthly business performance reviews, ensuring transparency around financial performance, investments, and key performance indicators.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes in close collaboration with business leaders.
Develop and challenge business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives to support growth, efficiency, and value creation.
Continuously enhance reporting capabilities, management information, and performance dashboards through analytical tools such as Power BI and Excel.
Support transformation initiatives, organisational changes, and strategic projects through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and decision support.
Your profile
You are commercially minded and motivated by building and developing strong partnerships and influencing decisions through data-driven insights and analytics. You are analytical, structured, and naturally curious about how a business operates and creates value.
You thrive when working closely with stakeholders, challenging constructively, and translating complex information into clear recommendations. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on and operational execution and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who contributes to an open culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and mutual success.
To succeed in this role, we expect that you bring:
A proactive mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a collaborative approach to solving business challenges.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and planning tools such as Power BI, Oracle/HFM, or similar platforms.
A solid understanding of business performance management, forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and financial planning.
Experience within Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance or a similar role.
A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
