We are currently seeking two dedicated part-time Client Services Interns for our New York City office and two interns for our Parsippany, NJ office.
This internship will run from May/June through August, with the potential for extension into the Fall. Candidates MUST be available to work on-site three (3) days per week.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and professional environment.
The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Scanning of all client related tax documents into GFR system
- Organize and maintain supply room and kitchen pantry
- Restock supplies within the office, keep track of inventory and reorder supplies when low, maintain vendor relationships
- Receive guests to the office and answer phones
- Sort and distribute mail, prepare outgoing mail
- Prepare and log all incoming/outgoing FedEx/Certified Mail and messenger packages. Interns in the New York City office must be comfortable to perform postal runs as needed
- Assist the Receptionist with answering phone calls and scheduling meetings
- Print, copy, and scan documents as requested
- Provide administrative support to staff members across departments
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a cooperative, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Exercises sound judgment, a quick learner and strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
Business Hours:
Normal business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Position is not available for remote work; attendance in the office is mandatory. Reliable transportation is required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
