## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Manual and Automation Tester with 3 to 6 years of experience in the Telecom OSS/BSS domain, specialising in Amdocs CRM and Billing applications. Based in Pune, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to end-to-end testing across telecom customer journeys, order management, account management, product configuration, charging, billing, invoicing, revenue management, and system integration scenarios. The successful candidate will combine strong domain expertise with hands-on automation capabilities to support high-quality solution delivery in an Agile environment.

## What you’ll do

• Perform manual testing of Telecom OSS/BSS applications with a focus on Amdocs CRM and Amdocs Billing platforms.
• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, prepare, and execute end-to-end test scenarios, test cases, and test data for telecom business processes.
• Validate telecom BSS functionalities including customer management, product catalogue, order management, charging, billing, invoicing, and revenue management.
• Create, maintain, and execute automation scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST and SOAP services.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL and support database testing activities.
• Log, track, retest, and manage defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
• Review application and batch logs using Linux/Unix tools and utilities to support issue analysis.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, defect triage sessions, and sprint retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, deployment teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support release validation, smoke testing, production sanity testing, and deployment activities.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and communicate them effectively.

## Who you are

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS processes and business flows.
• Hands-on experience working with Amdocs CRM and Amdocs Billing applications.
• Experience in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and defect retesting.
• Practical experience with automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/BDD, and REST Assured.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for automation scripting.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation and testing.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of defect management processes and testing best practices.
• Experience using ALM/QC, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, or Xray.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Understanding of Oracle databases, PL/SQL basics, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience in log analysis using tools such as Putty and WinSCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
