Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting sales activities, managing customer accounts, and developing new business opportunities. This includes overseeing the day-to-day management of each account, such as order entry, ensuring product accuracy, coordinating timely delivery, and proactively communicating order confirmations or any issues, ensuring a smooth and reliable customer experience.

- Manage customer accounts to ensure timely delivery, quality performance, and customer retention
- Handle inbound and outbound customer communications including phone and email
- Research prospective leads, identify customer buying trends, and provide reports to management
- Collaborate with estimating and internal teams to finalize quotes, pricing, and lead times
- Enter, update, and maintain sales orders and CRM systems for leads, prospects, and customers
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and support customer service needs
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding quotes, orders, and material applications
- Prepare and submit sales reports and performance data as required
- Work closely with sales teams to support growth and meet customer requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of sales, customer service, or business-related experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The employee must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and management through phone, email, and written communication. Strong listening and customer service skills are required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The employee should possess basic to intermediate mathematical skills necessary for pricing, cost analysis, order processing, and reporting.
REASONING ABILITY
The employee must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems related to customer requests, order processing, and sales activities. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
