Position Overview
As a Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right products and materials are available at the right time to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory investment and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Supply Planning Lead, this position partners closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to develop and execute supply strategies that support service, cost, and inventory objectives across the business.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage supply plans for manufacturing and final assembly operations to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory and operating costs.
- Establish and maintain inventory targets, planning parameters, safety stock levels, lead times, and replenishment strategies to support desired service levels.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to review forecasts, resolve demand-supply imbalances, and improve forecast alignment and planning accuracy.
- Partner with Procurement and Suppliers to manage material availability, reduce excess inventory, and address supply risks associated with long lead times and MOQ constraints.
- Lead planning activities for new product launches, pipeline builds, product transitions, and discontinuations to ensure smooth lifecycle execution.
- Analyze and manage excess and obsolete inventory, including risk assessments, inventory disposition recommendations, and cost-impact evaluations.
- Support the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process by providing accurate production plans, material forecasts, capacity assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a planning subject matter expert, driving continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects, and process optimization efforts.

Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, Inventory Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
- Experience developing supply plans, managing inventory strategies, and balancing service, cost, and inventory objectives.
- Proficiency in SAP, SAP IBP, or similar ERP/Planning systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets and planning metrics.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify supply risks and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams and organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- APICS/CPIM certification and experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or Process Excellence methodologies preferred.
