About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an established healthcare organization in Colorado Springs to hire an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and serving as a trusted resource to both employees and leadership. The ideal candidate will bring several years of direct HR Generalist experience and a strong working knowledge of employee relations, benefits, leave administration, recruitment, HR compliance, and employment practices.
The organization offers competitive hourly compensation, a comprehensive insurance package, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match.
We are specifically seeking someone with a true human resources background who can confidently manage day-to-day HR responsibilities, provide guidance to employees and managers, and help ensure HR practices remain consistent and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full employee recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Serve as a resource to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace questions
- Assist leadership with employee relations matters, performance concerns, and disciplinary processes
- Administer and coordinate employee benefits and leave programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS information
- Monitor employee credentials, certifications, and other renewable requirements

- Coordinate new-hire orientation, employee training, and other HR programs
- Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics for management
- Reconcile monthly employee benefit invoices
- Partner with leadership and other departments to address HR needs and support a positive employee experience
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and organizational information
- Perform additional HR-related responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or similarly broad HR role
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, recruitment, compliance, and HR administration
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or related employee management systems
- Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Previous HR experience within healthcare, home health, hospice, or another regulated environment
- Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
- Experience working with HR/payroll systems and electronic record systems
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who brings both strong HR knowledge and practical, hands-on experience.
The right person will be comfortable working independently, building relationships across departments, addressing employee concerns, interpreting policies, and balancing multiple HR priorities. This position is particularly well suited for an HR Generalist who enjoys having exposure to many areas of human resources rather than specializing in just one.
Compensation & Benefits
$30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Benefits include:
- 401(k) with company match
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- Life insurance
- Accident insurance
- Critical illness insurance
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
Schedule
