Position: Delivery Driver

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients across Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations within Western Cape
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle in a safe and timely manner
- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Communicate with clients to confirm delivery times and locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and collect payments from clients when necessary
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of Western Cape roads and traffic laws
- Basic math skills to handle payments and maintain accurate delivery records
- High school diploma or equivalent
