General Summary:
We are seeking an experienced senior engineering leader to lead Qualcomm's Camera SoC organization in Taiwan. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end execution of camera silicon programs and managing a cross-functional organization spanning Hardware Engineering, Emulation, Software/Firmware, Systems Engineering, and Program Management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large multidisciplinary semiconductor teams, delivering complex SoC programs from concept to commercialization, and driving organizational growth, execution excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale a multidisciplinary Camera SoC organization across HW, Emulation, SW, Systems, and PM functions.
- Drive execution of Camera SoC roadmaps, development milestones, silicon bring-up, validation, and product commercialization.
- Partner with global engineering, product management, and business leaders to align resources, priorities, and deliverables.
- Ensure predictable program execution, risk management, quality, and customer commitments.
- Build organizational capability through talent development, hiring, succession planning, and culture leadership.
- Represent the Taiwan Camera SoC organization in executive reviews and strategic planning discussions.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 15+ years of semiconductor/SoC development experience with 8+ years in engineering leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional engineering teams and delivering complex silicon programs.
- Strong technical understanding of SoC development, system validation, software integration, and product execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
This role is critical to expanding Qualcomm's Camera SoC engineering presence in Taiwan and delivering industry-leading camera innovations across future Snapdragon platforms.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 9+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
