The role

7-Eleven is more than a convenience store - we're a brand Australians have grown up with, show up for and talk about. From helping shape how people see 7-Eleven as a destination for Food & Bev, to building demand for the iconic Slurpee, partnering with some of Australia's leading FMCG brands, and creating reach and engagement around events and partnerships across sport, music and pop culture - our social channels play a powerful role in how the brand shows up in culture every day.

We're looking for a savvy, culturally-attuned Social Media Manager to help bring that ambition to life across Instagram, TikTok and beyond. You'll join a growing Brand Experience and Media team, reporting to our Brand Experience Lead, and work hand-in-hand with our in-house content team to turn great strategy into content that people genuinely want to engage with.

What you'll do 

• Turn our social strategy into a clear, always-on content and channel plan. 

• Guide our influencer and creator program, including key agency relationships 

• Bring community management back to life - responding, engaging and building genuine connection with our audience. 

• Partner with our media team to make paid support work harder for organic content. 

• Own the social calendar (in partnership with campaign managers), publishing, reporting and insights that shape what we do next. 

• Track how well our content principles and platform guardrails are landing, using data and retrospectives to keep improving how we work. 
  

What you'll bring 

• Proven experience running organic social for a brand, with a track record of growing real, engaged audiences and reach. 

• A genuine feel for culture, community and content - you know what makes people stop scrolling. 
• Confidently interpret data and analytics to understand audience behaviour, optimise performance, and drive engagement outcomes.

• Experience managing creators, influencers or agency partners. 

• Confidence to partner with senior stakeholders and hold a clear point of view. 

• A builder's mindset - equally comfortable following a strategic brief and rolling up your sleeves to deliver it.
