Facilities Technician

ALS Life Sciences Ltd are seeking a Facilities Technician for our laboratory business in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

The successful candidate will initially be responsible for:

• Receiving, checking, and putting away deliveries
• Organising the store rooms while ensuring that all store areas remain clean and orderly
• Carrying out stock takes to assist the team in placing orders
• Keeping crates clean and taking ownership of the orderly storage of stock.
• Compacting cardboard/plastic and assisting with recycling
• Undertaking basic repairs as allocated from Management Team.
• To ensure all records are completed concisely, accurately and on time.
• To assist with managing and supporting external contractors/Facilities visitors as directed by Management Team.
• Ensure that waste streams are managed effectively, adapting where required.
• Support ad-hoc cleaning to ensure highest standards are maintained.
• Places ad-hoc orders as requested.
• Play an active role in maintaining health and safety standards.

The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm working Mondays to Fridays.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer skills (Including Excel) are necessary.
• Good English is essential.
• Drivers licence is preferrable.

Salary: €32,000
