Job Description

• Assist the CEM team in daily manufacturing and production activities.
• Support monitoring of production output, efficiency, downtime, and production issues.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing production data and preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
• Support engineers in maintaining work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing records.
• Assist in identifying production abnormalities and following up with the relevant departments.
• Support quality-related activities, including data collection, inspection records, and non-conformance follow-up.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement projects.
• Assist with NPI and process improvement activities where required.
• Support preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Internship duration: Minimum 3–6 months, subject to university requirements and business needs.
