We’re looking for dynamic and engaging Support Workers to lead activities in our Youth Day Programs. This role is perfect for someone who brings high energy, creativity, and confidence to group activities and enjoys helping young people build skills, friendships, and independence.

About the Program
Our Youth Day Programs support young people with disability to build confidence, social skills, and independence through engaging activities and community experiences.
Programs include:
- Community outings and social activities
- Sports, fitness, and recreation
- Life skills and independence building
- Creative workshops and group activities
- Confidence building and social connection

The Role
As a Youth Program Support Worker, you will help lead and facilitate activities both in-centre and out in the community.
You’ll play a key role in making programs fun, engaging, and meaningful while supporting participants to build independence and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating group activities and community outings
- Supporting young people to build social skills and independence
- Encouraging participation and confidence in new experiences
- Providing 1:1 or small group support
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Following individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
- Recording participant progress and collaborating with the wider support team
Every day is different, from running activities and exploring the community to helping participants develop life skills and friendships.
What Your Week Looks Like
Youth programs run Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
Programs take place across Sydney, with a strong focus on:
- Blacktown, Rooty Hill & Castle Hill
- Priairewood & Liverpool
- Guildford
You’ll support a mix of on-site activities and community-based programs, helping young people stay active, engaged, and connected.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence (Full or P2)
- Right to work in Australia
Desirable (but not essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability)
- Experience in disability, youth work, or community programs
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours
