Real Property / Real Estate Specialist

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Real Property / Real Estate Specialist in Huntsville, AL. This is a 100% onsite position. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide onsite facility and installation support services to Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (AMC) and subordinate commands and installations.


Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise within AMC on real property inventory, inspection, recording, auditing and capital improvements to real property in accordance with appropriate Army regulations.
• Recommend command-level improvements to real property inventory policy and management and assist with the implementation of approved solutions.
• Develop command-level management tools and internal controls to monitor and improve the accuracy of the real property inventory.
• Perform command-level audits of real estate transactions, technical planning documents, and legal land descriptions to ensure data integrity and regulatory conformance.
• Conduct in-person and virtual staff assistance visits to AMC installations to provide training and assistance with GFEBS data entry and reconciliations.
• Develop requirements and assist with the creation of real property business intelligence reporting solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience supporting Army Real Property offices
• Knowledge of real estate principles, practices, DoD real estate regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams) in a business office environment.
• Able to travel 1 week/month
• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working at an Army general officer level headquarters.  
• Demonstrated research and analysis experience and skills
