Overview:

The Vertical PLM owns the product and solution strategy for Mitel's healthcare point-of-care solutions portfolio, ensuring alignment between market needs, customer requirements, Mitel's product roadmap, and the OEM partnership for HiMed. 
The role combines healthcare market expertise, product lifecycle management, commercial understanding, and strategic partnership leadership to drive growth and innovation in the healthcare/hospital industry.

Responsibilities:

Healthcare Market & Solution Strategy:

• Develop deep understanding of hospital workflows, clinical communications, and healthcare market requirements, particularly in DACH and key international markets.
• Translate customer and market needs into a comprehensive healthcare solution strategy encompassing HiMed, Mitel products and services, and third-party integrations. Drive innovation by identifying emerging healthcare communication trends and new market opportunities.

Go-to-Market Leadership:

• Act as the hospital point-of care subject matter expert for Sales and Sales Engineering.
• Enable and support regional sales organizations through solution positioning, training, customer engagements.

Product Lifecycle Management:

• Manage the solution portfolio throughout its lifecycle in alignment with Mitel PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes.
• Define product priorities, roadmap recommendations, lifecycle decisions, and business cases. Coordinate with PLM, R&D, Sales Engineering, Support, and Services to ensure successful portfolio execution.

Solution & Technical Leadership:

• Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare communication ecosystems and integrations, including EMR/EHR, Nurse Call systems, APIs, FHIR/HL7, Network architectures and cybersecurity principles.
• Support technical and integration-related discussions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Partnership & Alliance Management:

• Serve as the primary cross-functional contact for the OEM partner. Lead governance meetings, roadmap alignment, and escalation management.
• Identify and develop new joint business and innovation opportunities.

Commercial Management:

• Support pricing, licensing, subscription, and software assurance strategies.
• Contribute to OEM agreement management and business case development.
• Monitor portfolio performance and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in IT, telecommunications, healthcare communications, or a related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Fluent in German and English.

• Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to translate market needs into product strategy.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence decision-making across multiple organizations, functions, and seniority levels - without formal authority.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures, regions, and functions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building capabilities.

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Healthcare industry expertise with strong understanding of hospital environments and workflows (advantageous).
• Experience with Mitel Product Lifecycle Management processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare system integrations and interoperability standards.
• Experience managing OEM and technology partner relationships.
