This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of established coronary products. You will be required to partner with the sales team to implement short- and long-term strategic marketing plans and drive customer training and education programs.

Responsibilities

 

• Elaboration and adaptation of the marketing strategies and programmes for the Coronary business unit to achieve sales, margin and market share objectives within budgets.
• Participate in the development of annual sales volume and MS%
• Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare and manage the marketing expenditure budget, working within the budget and report on major variances.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure marketing strategies are realised. Maintain strong interdepartmental communication and liaison within AV (locally and internationally).
• Identify market trends, conduct market development initiatives aimed at enabling access to coronary products.
• In conjunction with sales and relevant departments participate in product training to sales and operations teams as required.
• Maintain up to date information and understanding of market, competitor, HCP and consumer behaviour, including active management of salesforce.com.
• Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products.
  

Qualifications and experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/related
• Desirable: Minimum 3 years in a Marketing role, with at least 1-2 years in Product Management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
•  Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Willingness to accept challenging assignments and engage in relevant developmental activities in a change environment.
•  MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with web-based application
