Description
Overall Purpose: Supervise the design, development, and operation of technology solutions to support the Marketing and Product Organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient execution of initiatives. This role requires strong strategic leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver complex programs across multiple business and technology teams. This role is responsible for leading the execution of complex broadband and converged programs spanning business areas such as strategic fiber investments and subsidies, software and firmware delivery, in-home and connected-home solutions, and broadband mandates. It is also responsible for leading converged offers and initiatives across business and technology teams, manage dependencies and risks, and drive programs to deliver desired outcomes and experiences for customers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise Cross-Functional Teams: Oversee the definition of strategy, technical roadmap, and business cases for the rapid delivery of new applications and enhancements, including products, pricing, offers, and promotions.
• Champion Customer Advocacy and Expertise: Ensure the team serves as the voice of the customer, providing subject matter expertise on marketing technology platforms, CX solutions, billing systems, and other technical applications.
• Lead Technical Project Execution: Supervise the execution of technical projects including planning, execution and delivery of key strategic initiatives.
• Oversee Development and Testing: Manage business requirements, and validation testing for each launch with a case execution, application debugging, and user interactions for system requirements and modifications.
• Provide Training and Support Oversight: Ensure the provision of training and support to marketing and sales teams, manage system settings, plan and execute testing, and prepare channel readiness documentation.
Job Contribution: Executes strategies that support the overarching philosophy of the organization. Oversees departmental programs and is often hands-on with the design and implementation of applicable strategies. Typically leads large teams, supervising supervisors as well as career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 10+ years of related experience.
