Software Engineer – C# (.NET) | Pune, India | Full-time

Your Role:

As a Software Engineer – C# (.NET), you will contribute to the development of Vanderlande's Engineering Suite of Tools (ESoT)—a software platform that enables engineers to design and configure automated logistics systems in 3D. Used by more than 900 engineers globally, ESoT plays a critical role in delivering Vanderlande's Airport, Warehouse, and Parcel automation projects.

Working as part of an international ICT Applications team, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions while continuously improving application quality, security, and user experience. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Netherlands and other global stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable engineering applications.

What you will do/Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for Vanderlande's Engineering Suite of Tools (ESoT).
• Develop high-quality desktop applications using C# (.NET) and modern software engineering practices.
• Build and enhance engineering applications using technologies such as WPF, XAML, and Web APIs.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to improving application architecture, maintainability, and scalability.
• Support initiatives focused on Security, Zero-Trust principles, Testing, and User Experience.

• Participate in modern software development and engineering best practices.

• Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support over 2,000 global users across multiple engineering disciplines.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • C# (.NET)
  • Desktop application development (WPF, WinForms, or similar)
  • Backend development and Web APIs
  • Agile (SAFe) methodologies
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting technical development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • C++
  • React
  • SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Git
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Secure software development practices
• Exposure to Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience working on enterprise engineering applications or CAD-related software is an advantage.
