Position Summary

The Marketing Technology & CRM Strategy Manager plays a critical role in advancing the firm's marketing and business development goals by owning the strategy, maintenance, and optimization of the firm's CRM and marketing technology platforms. This position owns the firm's CRM system (Intapp Deal Cloud), end to end – including administration, configuration, data governance, and long-term platform roadmap – while also leading the firm's broader marketing technology initiatives and transforms data into actionable insights that strengthen client relationships and support growth. The position further serves as the department's marketing technology champion, evaluating tools, managing vendor relationships, driving platform modernization, and staying ahead of emerging legal marketing technologies to ensure the department operates efficiently and innovatively. Collaborating closely with attorneys, practice groups, client teams, IT, and firm leadership, this position ensures that marketing technology and client intelligence programs directly contribute to business development success and exceptional client service.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns the CRM platform (Intapp Deal Cloud) end to end – strategy, administration, configuration, enhancements, data architecture, and ongoing optimization - ensuring it effectively supports business development and client engagement. Leads the marketing data strategy and collaborates with IT to ensure technology investments align with business development priorities.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets client, matter, and market data to identify trends, cross-selling opportunities, and growth prospects.
- Designs, maintains, and distributes dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide attorneys and firm leadership with actionable insights.
- Manages the vendor relationships as primary liaison for CRM, data enrichment, and marketing technology platforms, including evaluating new solutions, overseeing contacts, and ensuring alignment with firm needs.
- Collaborates with attorneys and client teams to leverage data and relationship intelligence to strengthen client engagement.
- Partners with marketing directors and finance to ensure seamless uses of Intapp Deal Cloud and marketing technologies across the firm.
- Support RFPs, pitches, and client presentations with data-driven insights, relationship mapping, and client intelligence.
- Develops and leads formal CRM and MarTech adoption programs, including training, documentation, change management, and usage metrics tracking, to drive meaningful adoption, ensure high-quality data, and translate insights into stronger client engagement and business development impact.
- Stays current on CRM and marketing technology best practices, recommending enhancements that increase efficiency and impact.
- Defines success metrics, adoption KPIs, and reporting frameworks to measure the impact of ROI and CRM and marketing technology investments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, information technology or related field required.
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing, business development, or CRM/database management within professional services; law firm or AmLaw experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Intapp Deal Cloud preferred) and demonstrated ability to manage system administration, data governance, and reporting.
- Proven experience in leveraging data to support business development, client relationship management, and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with reporting tools or business intelligence platforms a plus.
- Experience with Entegrata a plus.
