Description
The Professional, DevOps Engineering designs, implements and supports development and operational processes within a defined framework. The role works independently on assigned tasks and applies practical engineering knowledge to automate workflows, improve software delivery and support platform reliability.
The Professional collaborates with development teams, supports operational requirements and contributes to efficient and secure delivery practices. The role checks systems and processes and recommends adjustments that improve effectiveness.

Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines using approved automation and deployment tools.
- Supports operational and delivery requirements analysis and clarifies technical needs with the team.
- Implements automation changes and performs testing and validation of deployment processes.
- Follows established DevOps practices, infrastructure standards and operational procedures.
- Maintains and updates technical documentation related to deployment, automation and operational processes.
- Troubleshoots delivery, infrastructure and application issues and proposes solutions for review.
- Describes DevOps practices, tools and procedures to team members and stakeholders.
- Checks systems, pipelines and operational processes and recommends adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Solves routine technical and operational problems using prior experience and available
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in DevOps, software engineering, platform engineering or related technical roles.
- Practical knowledge of source control systems, automation tools and scripting languages.
- Experience with GitHub and Git-based development workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and software delivery practices.
- Understanding of infrastructure, cloud services or operational support processes.
- Ability to work independently within established frameworks.
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical contacts.
- Ability to analyse routine issues and propose practical improvements.
- Education and experience in software engineering, computer science or a related field.
