Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Management Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering and exiting the location, following established visitor management and credentialing procedures.
• Operate access control systems, maintain accurate visitor and access records, and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
