Summary of Job Duties:

UAB Athletics is seeking motivated graduate students interested in gaining practical, hands-on experience in intercollegiate athletics while pursuing a graduate degree at UAPB.

Athletics Graduate Assistants work collaboratively with coaches, administrators, staff, student-athletes, and campus partners to support daily operation and strategic objectives of Golden Lion Athletics. Assignments are based on departmental needs, the applicant's experience and career interest, and available Graduate Assistant opportunities.

Graduate Assistants will have the opportunity to develop professional skills, build relationships within intercollegiate athletics, and gain experience with an NCAA Division II Athletics Department.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution prior to the start of the appointment. Admission or eligibility for admission to a University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff graduate program. Ability to meet and maintain University requirements for Graduate Assistant enrollment and academic standing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
