What would you do? Role Summary The Capital Markets Operations Seniot Associate/Assistant Manager will be responsible to Lead a functional team responsible for end-to-end delivery of fund administration processes while providing governance, stakeholder management, people leadership, and operational oversight for one of the world s leading Private Markets Investment Firm
What are we looking for? Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise • Strong knowledge of: o IRR, MOIC, TWR, Modified Dietz, and other performance methodologies o Private Markets performance measurement o Fund accounting, NAV calculations, and capital account structures o Benchmarking and PME methodologies o GIPS standards and composite management o Performance attribution and investment analytics o Investor and regulatory reporting Leadership Competencies • Team supervision • Client interaction • Work allocation • SLA and KPI management • Training and coaching Preferred Experience • 9-12 years of overall experience (Seniot Associate/Assistant Manager) in: o Asset Management o Private Equity / Alternatives o Investment Operations o Performance Measurement & Reporting o Fund Administration o Investor Reporting Preferred Qualifications • MBA Finance /Bachelor of Commerce • Certifications such as NISM, CFA, FRM, CISI, or relevant industry credentials are preferred but not mandatory. • Strong proficiency in performance systems, data analytics, and reporting tools. Work Requirements • Willingness to work in EMEA shift timings, rotational shifts, and business-critical coverage windows as required. • Willingness to work on Indian holidays or extended hours based on client and market requirements. • Ability to operate in a 100% return-to-office or hybrid model as per project and business policy. • Ability to support client visits, transition activities, governance reviews, audits, and crisis management situations when required
Roles and Responsibilities: •Key Responsibilities Performance Measurement & Track Record Oversight • Oversee calculation and validation of fund-level and investment-level performance metrics including IRR, MOIC, TWR, Modified Dietz, and other return methodologies. • Direct quarterly track record preparation, governance, sign-off controls, and audit readiness. • Ensure reconciliation of performance outputs against audited NAVs, financial statements, and investor capital accounts. • Establish and maintain robust performance measurement methodologies and controls. Benchmarking & Investment Analytics • Lead PME analyses, benchmark comparisons, and peer-group performance evaluations. • Drive performance attribution analysis across strategies, sleeves, sectors, and portfolios. • Present performance insights and analytics to Investment Committees, Portfolio Managers, and senior leadership. • Provide analytical support for investment decision-making and portfolio reviews. GIPS & Performance Governance • Oversee GIPS composite construction, maintenance, dispersion calculations, and compliance monitoring. • Ensure appropriate documentation, audit trails, and governance controls are maintained. • Partner with Compliance, Audit, and external verification teams to support periodic reviews and certifications. • Monitor adherence to established performance calculation methodologies and reporting standards. Client & Investor Reporting Leadership • Manage delivery of recurring and ad hoc investor performance reports, factsheets, DDQs, LP portal reporting, and regulatory submissions. • Review and approve external performance data prior to distribution. • Support fundraising, marketing, and investor relations teams with accurate performance information. • Drive service quality, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction. Operational Excellence & Risk Management • Establish quality assurance frameworks and data validation controls. • Lead root-cause analysis for performance data discrepancies and reporting issues. • Manage operational risks associated with performance reporting and data management processes. • Identify automation, standardization, and process optimization opportunities. People Leadership & Stakeholder Management • Lead, coach, and develop performance reporting and analytics teams. • Allocate resources, manage workload prioritization, and ensure SLA adherence. • Engage with senior stakeholders across Investments, Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology functions. • Drive governance reviews, service delivery oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.Any Graduation
