Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:
The Senior Learning & Development Specialist serves as a learning consultant, leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of global learning solutions that build leadership, professional, and functional capabilities across the organization. Bringing comprehensive, in-depth expertise, and in partnership with business leaders, HR, and subject matter experts, identify capability gaps, address performance challenges, and deliver scalable, data-driven learning experiences aligned with business priorities and talent strategies. Leveraging expertise in learning design, learning technologies, and emerging practices, the Senior Specialist drives measurable business impact, fosters continuous learning, and contributes to the evolution of Herbalife's global learning ecosystem.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
• Lead end-to-end design, curation, delivery, and evaluation of large-scale, global learning programs that build critical leadership, professional and functional capabilities through a blend of instructor-led, virtual, digital, and experiential learning solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and talent strategy. • Act as a performance consultant to business leaders and HR Business Partners: diagnose root causes of performance and capability gaps and recommend scalable learning and performance solutions. • Apply learning science principles, instructional design methodologies (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Synthesia, Sana, Arist.) and emerging technologies including AI-enabled tools, to create high-impact, retention-focused learning experiences.• Oversee LMS administration, governance, and optimization for assigned programs; partner with IT on AI-powered platform integrations and digital learning tool adoption. • Conduct advanced learning needs analyses, skill-gap assessments, and data-driven evaluations of program effectiveness that connect learning effectiveness to business outcomes • Manage relationships and coordinate delivery with external training vendors and consultants, including contract negotiation, quality assurance, and ongoing performance review. • Stay current with emerging L&D trends, AI-powered learning technologies, and best practices; pilot and evaluate new tools and methodologies to continuously improve training effectiveness and learner engagement. Mentor and provide developmental support to team members; share expertise through coaching, peer feedback, and knowledge-sharing practices across the L&D team.• Additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning Sciences, or a related field required. Master's degree or equivalent advanced experience preferred.
Experience:
• Proven track record leading large-scope learning projects that span multiple functions, populations, and global locations.• Experience operating as a learning or performance consultant in a business-facing capacity.• Experience managing external vendor relationships and coordinating third-party training delivery.Technical and professional skills• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with multi-region or multi-language learning deployment.• Advanced proficiency in LMS platforms, and data analysis tools.• Strong command of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), skills taxonomy development, and learning measurement frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI).• Demonstrated performance consulting and business partnering skills; ability to diagnose performance problems, assess learning needs and translated into actionable learning design.• Data literacy: ability to interpret skills, talent, and learning metrics to inform strategy and measure business impact.• AI fluency: familiarity with AI-native learning platforms, content automation tools, and the application of AI to personalize and scale learning; willingness to experiment with emerging technologies.• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence without authority.• Strong project management skills; ability to handle assignments of large scope, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines with minimal direction.• ATD CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
