The Regional Sales Manager owns sales performance for a defined GCS region, spanning new equipment, aftermarket parts, and service, and is accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned regional revenue and margin targets. This role leads a team of Compressor Aftermarket Field Sales representatives and represents GCS with key operators and midstream companies across the territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets for the region.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Compressor Aftermarket Field Sales representatives within the region.
- Build and manage relationships with regional operators, midstream companies, and channel/dealer partners; navigate between influencers and decision makers.
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned to GCS's broader growth strategy.
- Partner with Instrumentation & Automation Sales and GCS Account Managers on cross-sell opportunities within the region.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM; report regional performance to the VP of Sales.
- Represent GCS at regional industry associations, events, and customer functions.
Leadership Expectations
Leads and coaches the Compressor Aftermarket Field Sales team within the region; serves as a resource for knowledge transfer and training, and leads cross-functional sales initiatives within the territory.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of sales experience in compression, oilfield services, or industrial equipment, including 2+ years in a sales leadership or coaching capacity.
- Knowledge Requirements: Existing network of upstream/midstream relationships within the assigned region; strong knowledge of gas compression equipment, mechanical aptitude, and aftermarket service models.
- Skills & Abilities: Team leadership and coaching; relationship building; negotiation; territory and pipeline planning; effective written, verbal, and active-listening communication.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Physical Demands
- Regular travel throughout the assigned region by car and air.
- Standing, walking, and bending at customer facilities, plant sites, and compressor stations.
- Compliance with site safety and PPE requirements when visiting field locations.
- Regular PC use, sitting, and reaching for office and CRM work.
