You will be responsible to:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Cost Controller to oversee cost management activities across large-scale engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring that projects are delivered within approved cost parameters.

This role involves close collaboration with project managers, finance, procurement, and planning teams to provide accurate cost visibility, identify risks, and implement proactive cost control measures.

 

Repsonsibilties:

• Develop and maintain robust cost control systems and reporting tools.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor, analyze, and report project expenditures, commitments, and variances against approved budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insight into cost trends, deviations, and corrective actions
• Prepare detailed monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost overruns and financial risks
• Support change management by evaluating the cost impact of design or scope changes
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and project control standards.
• Provide strategic input to senior management for cost optimization and decision-making.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

 

• Strong understanding of project cost control principles, financial analysis, and forecasting- 5years + relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost control or project financial management.
• Proficiency with cost management software (e.g., SAP modules PM,PS,IM, MS Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional project teams.
